Trained in marketing and graphic design, Lynn is a
persuasive communicator with an extensive background in print
production and public relations.
She began her career in the showrooms of the
Ontario Fashion Exhibitors, selling advertising and generating publicity
for eastern Canada’s fashion
élite. Under her direction the OFE
Buyers’ Guide became an industry staple.
When Lynn left the OFE in 1986 it was to start her
own business specializing in print advertising. Over time her
design skills were surpassed by her capabilities as a writer.
Determined to earn a byline
in a national magazine, Lynn
parlayed a passion for auto racing into a part-time profession as
one of North America’s few (at the time) female motorsports
journalists. Her skill and experience trackside led to PR
assignments on the racing circuit and beyond. In 1991 she
diversified, working in healthcare and charity fundraising on
various projects that included writing the inaugural event manual
for the MS SuperCities Bike Tours.
Since 1992 Lynn has worked exclusively as a writer and editor.
She's built her business on her talent for getting the words
right. Her reputation as a media-savvy writer lays testament to
her outstanding communications skills and steadfast dedication to
excellence in public relations.
Lynn is a member of the Professional Writers
Association of Canada (PWAC) and the Editors' Association of Canada (EAC).
